Akita was confided to me by Mrs Pefferkorn near Valencia. I thank her for it largely.
It is with her that my passion for the Bernese Mountain dog began.
Akita lived 3 years in apartment without problems. She is very close to me and I take her everywhere where I go. It is a very intelligent bitch. A simple glance is enough for making me understand what she wants! There is a real fusionnel link between us, she understands almost all that I ask for to her.
Akita is very timorous to people whom she does not know and especially to the men. She followed a behavioral therapy to decrease its anxiety. I obtained good results(profits) but that was not supernatural.
I have choosen to make her sterilize in 7 months because of entropions that she had with both eyes. It is about a genetic tare which she would have been able to pass at her puppies. On the other hand, I did not see managing hot season in apartment.
It will be the second mom of our puppies.
